Scramble to relocate Umlazi flood victims
UMLAZI – Homes in Umlazi in KwaZulu-Natal are cracking, sinking and even completely collapsing. But, government says it was impossible to foresee the disaster. A total of 56 families will now be urgently moved to a safer area. Human Settlements Minister Thembi Simelane visited the area and said a long-term solution must be found. –
